Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750ml) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or Chardonnay)
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- 2 tbsp sugar or honey (optional, to taste)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 lime, sliced
- 2 peaches or nectarines, sliced
- 1 cup grapes (green or red), halved
- 1–2 cups sparkling water or club soda, chilled
- Ice, for serving
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, stir together the white wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and sugar (if using) until dissolved.
- Add sliced fruit (orange, lemon, lime, peaches, and grapes).
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to allow flavors to meld.
- Before serving, add sparkling water or club soda for a light fizz.
- Serve over ice, making sure each glass has fruit pieces.
Notes
For a sweeter sangria, use Moscato instead of a dry wine. Fresh berries or pineapple also make great additions.
