Description

A classic wine sangria made with red or white wine, fresh fruit, and a splash of spirits. Perfect for parties, BBQs, or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750ml) red or white wine
  • 1/4 cup brandy or fruit liqueur
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey (optional)
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 12 cups assorted fresh fruit (grapes, berries, peaches, pineapple)
  • 12 cups club soda or sparkling water, chilled
  • Ice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine wine, brandy (or fruit liqueur), orange liqueur, and sugar or honey (if using). Stir until dissolved.
  2. Add all sliced fruit.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, for the flavors to meld.
  4. Before serving, add sparkling water or club soda for a refreshing fizz.
  5. Serve over ice with fruit pieces in each glass.

Notes

Feel free to mix red or white wine based on preference. Frozen fruit can act as natural ice cubes to chill without watering down the sangria.
