A refreshing and fruity summer sangria made with red wine, citrus, fresh berries, and a splash of brandy. Perfect for parties, BBQs, and hot days!
Ingredients

- 1 bottle (750ml) dry red wine
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (such as Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- 2 tbsp sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- 1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 apple, diced
- 1–2 cups chilled soda water or lemon-lime soda (to top)
- Ice, for serving
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and sugar (or honey). Stir until sugar dissolves.
- Add sliced orange, lemon, lime, apple, and berries. Mix gently.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (up to overnight) to let the flavors meld.
- Before serving, top with soda water or lemon-lime soda for a fizzy finish.
- Serve over ice, garnished with extra citrus slices if desired.
Notes
For a sweeter sangria, use a fruity red wine like Merlot or Garnacha. For a drier version, choose Cabernet Sauvignon or Tempranillo.
