A cozy and refreshing sangria perfect for fall, made with apple cider, white or red wine, crisp apples, citrus, and a touch of cinnamon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750ml) white or red wine
- 2 cups apple cider
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)

- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1–2 cinnamon sticks
- Ice, for serving
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine wine, apple cider, brandy, orange liqueur, and maple syrup (if using). Stir until blended.
- Add sliced apples, orange, lemon, and cinnamon sticks.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve over ice, making sure each glass has some fruit slices.
- Optional: sprinkle a little ground cinnamon on top before serving.
Notes
For a sparkling twist, add a splash of club soda or sparkling water just before serving. Frozen apple slices can act as natural ice cubes.
