Description
A fruity, refreshing sangria made in a big batch — perfect for parties, barbecues, and holidays. Easy, colorful, and crowd-pleasing!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle of red wine (750ml, dry Spanish wine works best)
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- 1/4 cup sugar (or honey)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 lime, sliced
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1 apple, cored and chopped
- 1–2 cups soda water or lemon-lime soda (to taste)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine red wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the sliced fruits (orange, lemon, lime, apple, and strawberries) and stir to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to let the flavors meld.
- Before serving, add soda water or lemon-lime soda for fizz.
- Serve chilled over ice, making sure each glass gets some fruit.
Notes
For a white version, swap the red wine with white or rosé. You can also add pineapple, peaches, or mixed berries for variety. Best made a few hours ahead!
